Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start tracking a walk?

Tap the "Start Walk" button on the home screen, select your dog(s), and begin walking. The app will automatically track your route, distance, and duration. Make sure location services are enabled for the best experience.

How do I add my dog to the app?

Go to the "Dogs" tab, tap the "+" button, and fill in your dog's information including name, breed, and photo. You can add multiple dogs to your account.

Can I share a dog with another owner?

Yes! Go to your dog's profile, tap "Share Dog", and send an invitation link to the other owner. Once they accept, both of you can track walks with the shared dog.

How do I add friends?

Go to the "Friends" tab and search for users by their username. Send a friend request and once accepted, you'll see each other's walks in your feed.

What are tokens and how do I earn them?

Tokens are rewards you earn by completing walks, achieving milestones, and finishing challenges. You can use tokens to unlock virtual items in the shop to customize your profile.

How do challenges work?

Challenges are goals that refresh periodically (daily, weekly, or monthly). Complete them by walking the required distance or number of walks to earn bonus tokens.

Why isn't my walk being tracked correctly?

Make sure location services are set to "Always" or "While Using" for Walky Doggy in your iPhone Settings. Also ensure you have a good GPS signal (outdoors works best).

How do I connect my Strava account?

Go to Settings > Integrations > Strava and tap "Connect". You'll be redirected to Strava to authorize the connection. Once connected, your walks will automatically sync.

What's included in Premium?

Premium removes all ads, gives you bonus tokens for walks, access to exclusive challenges, and priority support. You can subscribe monthly or yearly from the Settings menu.

How do I delete my account?

Contact us at support@walkydoggy.fr with your account email to request account deletion. We'll process your request within 30 days and remove all your personal data.
